Avonbank Meadow is set on a beautiful, half acre, level, lawned site within a 4 acre landscape bordering 600 ft of the tranquil River Avon. Sitting in the picturesque riverside village of Wyre Piddle, Avonbank Meadow is an idyllic haven offering peace and tranquility with stunning views of the river.
Walking, cycling and fishing* are among a host of activities available to you on your doorstep or simply take a 20 minute walk along the river to the historic market town of Pershore where you will find Pershore Abbey and an abundance of shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or for the more energetic there is a leisure centre with swimming pool.

Site Rules and Guidelines
The route through the boat yard is only our right of way and therefore we do not own it, could we please ask all visitors to Avon Bank Meadow to keep to the 12 foot gravel track and not to stop or deviate from the route under any circumstances, we also ask that you stick to the strict 5MPH limit
Please check in and pay on arrival at the big blue boat “Harry” at the end of the driveway.
Check in from 12.30 hrs departure 11.30 hrs.
To enable us to keep the grass in good condition we do not allow ground sheets including breathable and kindly ask that once set up, cars are parked in the main carpark in the bays marked CL allocated spaces.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on lead and all mess picked up.
There are good dog walks either left or right out of the marina entrance
(please do not use field between the boatyard and the site).We have boats moored on our property so please respect their privacy.
Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason we require 7 days notice to avoid incurring any charge. There will be a 50% charge if your booking is cancelled 2-6 days in advance. If any less than 2 days we would expect 100% payment regardless of deposit being paid or not. In the case of a no show we would also expect 100% payment. We will always do our best to reschedule your stay with us if outside the above notice and subject to availability.
Why stay here…
In Wyre Piddle village itself there is The Anchor Inn, a local riverside village pub within 5 minutes walk, offering good food, local ales and beautiful riverside gardens.
Local buses to Pershore, Evesham and Worcester are regularly available throughout the day from Monday to Saturday.
Avon Bank is also the perfect location for visiting: The Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon and the races at Cheltenham.
In addition to the many shops, pubs and restaurants of Pershore there is also a CO-OP supermarket and a Shell Garage a short drive away from the site.
Dogs are welcome and there is an exercise park right next to the site (Smiths Meadow).
Fishing is free (subject to available space and prior arrangement) with chub, pike, barble and lots more to test your skills..

“Brilliant CL site. Excellent facilities including WiFi. Friendly and welcoming owners Lisa and John. Peaceful and tranquility along the River Avon. There is a pub in the village. You can walk into Pershore town along the tow path approx 20mins walk although not mobility friendly. Entrance is through the boatyard, We will return, that’s if they have a vacancy.”
